FoodieCalc (the "App") uses your device's camera to capture photos of food. These images are processed and sent via secure connection to the Google Gemini API for the sole purpose of identifying nutritional information (calories and macros).

All data transmitted to third-party APIs is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We do not sell your personal or nutritional data to any third parties. Your food logs and health data are stored only in your private Firebase account and are accessible only to you.
FoodieCalc is a nutritional reference tool and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie and macro estimates from AI photo analysis are approximate and should not be used as the sole basis for medical or dietary decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new diet or fitness program.
FoodieCalc requests access to your device camera solely to allow you to photograph food for AI nutritional analysis and barcode scanning. Photos are never stored on our servers and are processed only for the purpose of providing nutritional estimates.
You can delete your food log history directly within the app. To request complete deletion of your account and associated data, please contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
FoodieCalc is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
