By downloading or using FoodieCalc, these terms automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the application.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the application. The application is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized copying, modification, reverse engineering, translation, or creation of derivative versions of the application or any part thereof is strictly prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the application remain the property of Glitch Lab.
Glitch Lab reserves the right to modify the application or introduce charges for its services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the application or its services will be clearly communicated to you in advance.
FoodieCalc is a Freemium app. While many features are free, some premium features (such as ad-removal) may require a paid subscription when available. When offered, all payments will be handled by Google Play Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Google Play Store settings.
While we use advanced AI and third-party data to provide nutritional insights, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of calorie counts or nutrient data. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this information. You use this information at your own risk.
The application incorporates AI technologies (including Google Gemini) to provide certain features such as food photo analysis and meal logging. By using the application, you acknowledge and agree that AI may be used to process your data and deliver these functionalities. Glitch Lab ensures that all AI usage complies with applicable laws and is designed to benefit your experience.
The free version of the app may display advertisements through third-party services (such as AdMob) when available. If and when ads are introduced, by continuing to use the app you agree to their display unless you purchase a premium subscription. Please note the application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions:
Some functions of the application require an active internet connection. Glitch Lab cannot be held responsible if the application does not function at full capacity due to lack of Wi-Fi or exhausted data allowance. If you use the application outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms still apply and you may incur data charges, including roaming charges. It is also your responsibility to ensure your device remains charged — Glitch Lab cannot be held responsible if your device runs out of battery.
The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, as such actions could compromise your device's security and may result in the application not functioning correctly.
Glitch Lab may update the application at any time. You agree to accept updates when offered to continue using the application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the application will always be compatible with your device's operating system. Glitch Lab also reserves the right to cease providing the application and terminate its use at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, your rights and licenses under these terms will end and you must cease using and delete the application.
In no event shall Glitch Lab be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the application, including health outcomes, data loss, or financial loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
